Cara Pusey

Cara first discovered yoga over 30 years ago when it was offered as a school ‘sport’ in high school. Since then, it has remained one of the great and consistent passions of her life.

She loves supporting students in discovering the joy of embodiment and exploring the many ways yoga allows us to celebrate being alive. Yoga has always been a way home for Cara—especially when life’s path has felt unclear—and she is passionate about holding space where students can cultivate a loving, compassionate relationship with themselves.

With hundreds of hours of formal yoga training, Cara draws on her studies in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Meditation, as well as decades of personal practice, to support a wide range of students in their individual journeys. She is also currently completing a trauma-informed yoga teacher training to further deepen her ability to hold inclusive, supportive space.

As one of the great yogis of our modern times, Sri Krishna Pattabhi Jois, once said:
“Practice, and all is coming.”
